MENA ML by Google DeepMind

I took part in Google DeepMind's MENA ML workshop in Doha, which brought together ML researchers and practitioners from across the region. We went through recent work on large language models and foundation models, how ML infrastructure is run at scale, and spent time in hands on sessions with DeepMind researchers. It was a good chance to meet other people working on AI in the region.
